This Payment Policy explains how payments are handled on theperpetualyou Store.

✅ Accepted Payment Methods

We currently accept:

  • PayPal

  • Credit/Debit Cards via Stripe

Availability may vary by country, bank, or device.

🅿️ PayPal Payments

When you choose PayPal, you can pay using:

  • Your PayPal balance

  • Linked bank account

  • Linked credit/debit card (if supported by PayPal)

Important: PayPal may apply its own security checks and may ask you to verify your identity or payment method.

💳 Stripe Card Payments

When you pay by card, your payment is processed securely via Stripe (a third-party payment processor).
We typically accept major credit/debit cards supported by Stripe in your region.

We do not store your full card number on our servers. Card handling is done by Stripe.

⏱️ When You’re Charged

  • Your payment is usually authorized and captured at checkout.

  • If a payment fails or is declined, your order may not go through (because reality is strict like that).

💱 Currency

  • Prices are shown and charged in the currency displayed at checkout (most commonly USD unless your checkout shows otherwise).

  • If your bank converts currencies, it may apply conversion fees.

🧾 Taxes

  • Taxes (if applicable) will be calculated and shown at checkout before you pay.

🚫 Failed / Declined Payments

Payments can fail for reasons like:

  • Incorrect billing info

  • Insufficient funds

  • Bank security blocks

  • PayPal/Stripe security review

If it happens, try again or use a different payment method.

🕵️ Fraud Prevention

We reserve the right to hold, cancel, or refuse orders that appear suspicious (mismatched billing details, unusual activity, etc.). If a payment is flagged, we may request additional verification.

⚖️ Chargebacks & Disputes

If you file a dispute/chargeback, it can:

  • Delay resolution

  • Suspend order processing

  • Require extra documentation from both sides

If anything’s wrong, contact us first so we can fix it faster than letting payment networks drag it out.

🔁 Refunds

Refunds (if approved) are issued back to the original payment method:

  • PayPal refunds go back to PayPal (or the original funding source depending on PayPal rules).

  • Card refunds go back to the same card used via Stripe.

Timing depends on your bank/payment provider (usually a few business days).
